Section 1.  Energy utility diversity stakeholder group; report. Requires the Public Utilities Commission to convene a stakeholder group to examine the challenges and opportunities for Minnesota's energy utilities to attract a diverse workforce and to increase the supplier diversity of energy utilities. Specifies that membership of the stakeholder group shall include, but is not limited to, representatives of public utilities, municipal electric or gas utilities, and electric or gas cooperative associations. Lists the items for the stakeholder group to examine and consider. Requires the stakeholder group to provide a report to the legislature on the findings and recommendations of the group by January 15, 2020.
