|
S.F. No. 2448 amends how the contributions for the Law Enforcement Memorial Association (LEMA) plates are distributed. By August 15 of each year, the commissioner of public safety must distribute all the contributions in the LEMA account to LEMA to further the association’s mission. By January 15 of each year, LEMA must report to the commissioner of public safety and to the legislature on how the funds were spent for the past calendar year.
