Section 1. Curriculum best practices sharing.

Subd. 1. Curriculum review. Directs the Department of Education to establish a process under which teachers may submit curricula for review and best practices sharing. Requires that a team of Tier 3 and Tier 4 teacher review the curricula submitted.

Subd. 2. Curriculum sharing. Requires that curricula selected by the review team be available as model curricula to other Minnesota teachers. Requires the model curricula to be posted on the agency website no later than January 1, 2020.

Subd. 3. Stipends. Provides stipends for members of the review team and for teachers that submit curricula selected for statewide sharing.

Sec. 2. Appropriations. Appropriates money for stipends and department information technology costs.
