Section 1. Transportation definitions.  Includes transportation of certain pregnant and parenting pupils in the “regular transportation” category. Defines “transportation of pregnant or parenting pupils” to mean transportation of those pupils to and from a program that was established on or before January 1, 2018, that provides: academic instruction; at least four hours per week of parenting instruction; and high-quality child care on site during the education day with the capacity to serve all children of enrolled pupils.

Sec. 2. Pupil transportation adjustment. Excludes the transportation aid attributable to pregnant and parenting pupil transportation from the calculation of the adjustment to transportation sparsity aid for districts in which the costs of providing transportation exceed the revenues attributable to transportation.

Sec. 3. Appropriations. Establishes a reimbursement program for districts transporting pregnant and parenting pupils to qualifying programs.
