S.F. No. 446 increases the annual fee for child support collection services from $25 to $35. The fee is imposed on individuals that have received at least $550 in child support payments through a county’s collection services. The fee must be retained by the collecting county from the collected support, but may not be retained from the first $550 of collected support. The $550 minimum is increased from $500.
