Section 1 (252.27, subdivision 2a) excludes parents of children determined to be eligible for medical assistance without consideration of parental income under the TEFRA option from being assessed a parental contribution fee for the cost of medical assistance services.

Section 2 (256B.14, subdivision 2) makes a conforming change.
