Section 1. Fees; wireless facility. Limits the amount a local government unit under Chapter 394 may charge an applicant to install a new or replacement wireless facility on a new or existing structure designed to support wireless facilities or on a water tower, building, or other structure. Limits the application fee charged to the actual cost incurred, not to exceed $3,000. Provides a definition of “wireless facility.” Makes the section applicable to applications filed on or after the effective date.
