This bill modifies the K-12 expenses credit to include up to $25 per month of broadband subscription services related to purchases of personal computer hardware or educational software that currently qualify for the credit. The bill also removes the $200 limit on computer hardware and software purchases eligible for the credit. These purchases, along with qualifying broadband subscription services, would still be subject to the overall cap for the credit under current law. Effective beginning in tax year 2017.
