Section 1 [Destruction, preservation, reproduction of records; prima facie evidence.] Defines “electronic record” for purposes of record retention and archiving.
Section 2 [Records management.] A local government record retention schedule must require electronic records to be retained for the same amount of time as other similar records, except that an electronic record must be retained for a minimum 18 months.
