S.F. 1867 allows a cooperative electric association that has elected to be subject to rate regulation under section 216B.026 to file with the public utilities commission for approval of an adjustment for real and personal property taxes, fees, and permits.

The Dakota Electric Authority (DEA) is the only electric cooperative that has elected to be rate-regulated.

Effective the day following final enactment.
