Section 1. Compensation revenue pupil units. Provides a calculation of supplemental compensatory revenue pupil units for a school district based on the number of pupils in the district eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. Strikes obsolete language.

 Effective date: makes this section effective for revenue for fiscal year 2017 and later.

Section 2. Compensatory education revenue. Modifies the calculation of compensatory education revenue to include supplemental compensatory revenue. Provides a calculation of supplemental compensatory revenue based on the compensatory revenue pilot project grant amounts for fiscal year 2016 and the compensation revenue pupil units in the district.

Effective date: makes this section effective for revenue for fiscal year 2017 and later.

Section 3. General education aid. Appropriates additional money for fiscal year 2017 and later.

Section 4. Repealer. Repeals the compensatory revenue pilot project grants for fiscal year 2017 and later.
