Sections 1 and 3 are deleted in the A-1 amendment offered by the author.

Section 2 (256J.24, subd. 5) requires the Commissioner of Human Services to adjust the cash portion of the MFIP grant for inflation, beginning in fiscal year 2017.

Section 4 doubles the amount of the MFIP grant, effective July 1, 2015. 

Section 5 is a blank appropriation from the TANF block grant fund to the Commissioner of Human Services for purposes of the sections in this bill.
