         This bill directs the Commissioner of Public Safety to establish a process by which applicants for a driver’s license or state identification card may:

  1. Apply and make payment online; and
  2. Perform any in-person application requirements at an office of the Department of Public Safety or a driver’s license agent.

This bill is effective the day following final enactment.
