Section 1 (115.741) creates an expiration date of June 30, 2019, for the advisory council on water supply systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

Section 2 (144.98, subdivision 10) creates an expiration date of June 30, 2018, for the selection committee established by the Commissioner of Health to recommend approval of qualified laboratory assessors and assessment bodies.

Section 3 (144G.06) removes language enacted in 2006 requiring the Commissioner of Health to establish an advisory committee for recommendations on adopting a Uniform Consumer Information Guide for assisted living services.

Section 4 (252.30) removes language requiring an advisory task force for services for people with developmental or physical disabilities to recommend to the Commissioner of Human Services the most appropriate disbursement of funds appropriated during the 1973 Legislative Session.

Section 5 (256B.27, subdivision 1a) removes language authorizing the Commissioner of Human Services to convene an advisory task force to assist the commissioner in determining when the provision of services was not medically necessary.

Section 6 (256B.27, subdivision 3) removes language allowing the Commissioner of Human Services to consult with an advisory task force, consisting of Medical Assistance (MA) medical care vendors, on accessing medical records for determining if MA reimbursement claims were accurate or the medical care provided was necessary.  This task force expired under the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section 15.059, subdivision 6.

Section 7 specifies that the committees and councils listed did not expire and continue to be valid.

Section 8 instructs the Office of the Revisor of Statutes to remove cross-references to sections repealed in Section 9, and make related changes in statute deemed necessary to preserve the meaning of the existing language.

Section 9 repeals sections 62U.09 (Health Care Reform Review Council); 144.011, subdivision 2 (State Health Advisory Task Force); 145.98, subdivisions 1 and 3 (Council on Health Promotion and Wellness); 252.31 (allows the Commissioner of Human Services to appoint an advisory task force for services for people with developmental or physical disabilities; task force expired under section 15.059, subdivision 6); and 402A.15 (steering committee on performance and outcome reforms).
