The bill requires juvenile treatment screening teams to conduct screenings and prepare case plans within ten days of a request for screening. Current law requires the screening and case plans to be completed within 15 days of the request. This provision applies to children whose families are involved with or known to the child protection system and to children whose families have placed them in voluntary foster care for treatment.
