Section 1 (119B.09, subdivision 9a) changes the effective date of the subdivision passed in the 2011 First Special Session, related to children of individuals who are employees of the child care center.   This subdivision became effective January 1, 2013, and the new effective date is July 1, 2014.

Section 2 (256.01, subdivision 35) requires the Commissioner of Human Services, within available appropriations, to provide outreach and training to culturally specific child care providers to assist in understanding child care licensing requirements and program requirements.
