Section 1 [Applicability] defines “agency” as any state officer, employee, board, commission, authority, department, entity, or organization of the executive branch of state government, including the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.

Section 2 [Acceptance Testing] requires an agency to provide an opportunity for user acceptance testing to a local government if the local government will be the primary user and if operations of the local government will be significantly impacted by a new information technology business software application implemented by the agency.
