1.4 "Sec. 74.
DIRECTION TO THE COMMISSIONER OF HUMAN SERVICES;
1.5INITIAL OPTUM REPORT SUMMARY.
1.6If the commissioner of human services releases the initial Optum report to the chairs
1.7and ranking minority members of a legislative committee with jurisdiction over human
1.8services policy and finance, the commissioner must at the same time release to the
public
1.9a summary of the unredacted report viewed by the legislators, which the commissioner
must
1.10develop with the Office of the Legislative Auditor. The commissioner must also include
in
1.11the summary an assessment of whether releasing the version of the report released
to
1.12legislators would risk the integrity of the medical assistance program if released
to the
1.13public.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective 14 days following final enactment."
