1.3"Page 6, delete section 8 and insert:

1.4    "Sec. 8. Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 290.0132, is amended by adding a subdivision
1.5to read:
1.6    Subd. 31. Certain unemployment insurance compensation payments. For taxable
1.7years beginning after December 31, 2019, and before January 1, 2021, 18 percent of the
1.8amount of unemployment compensation received by an individual under section 2104 of
1.9the CARES Act, Public Law 116-136, is a subtraction. The subtraction is reduced by $1 for
1.10every $4 of adjusted gross income over:
1.11(1) $150,000 for married couples filing a joint return or surviving spouses;
1.12(2) $112,500 for head of household filers; and
1.13(3) $75,000 for all other filers.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for taxable years beginning after December
1.1531, 2019, and before January 1, 2021.""
