1.10Page 56, after line 20, insert:

STUDY OF IMPACT OF EAGLES ON LOONS.
1.12The commissioner of natural resources must conduct a study of the impact that eagles
1.13have on loons in this state. The study must include an assessment of the impact that
the
1.14presence of bald eagles has on juvenile loons and on the loon population generally.
By
1.15March 1, 2028, the commissioner must submit a report on the results of the study to
the
1.16chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees and divisions with
1.17jurisdiction over the environment."
1.18Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.19Amend the title accordingly
