1.3 "Sec. 5.
TIMBER PERMITS; EXTENSIONS.
1.4 Subdivision 1. Eligibility. For the purpose of this section, an "eligible permit" is a timber
1.5permit with an expiration date between May 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026, without
an
1.6available regular extension and the permit holder must not be delinquent or have an
active
1.7willful trespass with the state.
1.8 Subd. 2. Extensions. Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary in Minnesota
1.9Statutes, chapter 90, upon written request to the commissioner of natural resources
by the
1.10holder of an eligible permit emailed or received with postmark by June 30, 2026, the
1.11commissioner may grant an extension of the permit for one year without penalty or
interest."
1.12Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.13Amend the title accordingly
