1.2Page 24, after line 13, insert:

1.3    "Sec. 11. [15.0561] CONSUMER CHOICE OF FUEL; RESTRICTIONS
1.4PROHIBITED.
1.5(a) A state agency may not adopt rules that:
1.6(1) restrict consumer choice in purchasing motorized equipment based on the equipment's
1.7fuel source; or
1.8(2) mandate retailer inventory of motorized equipment based on the equipment's fuel
1.9source.
1.10(b) For purposes of this section, "motorized equipment" means:
1.11(1) tools, including but not limited to generators, lawn mowers, pressure washers, chain
1.12saws, leaf blowers, and weed trimmers;
1.13(2) recreational vehicles, including but not limited to golf carts, motorcycles, off-highway
1.14vehicles, snowmobiles, and watercraft;
1.15(3) new or used passenger automobiles;
1.16(4) farm equipment, as defined in section 325E.061; and
1.17(5) medium and heavy duty trucks."

1.19    "Sec. 44. REPEALER.
1.20    Subdivision 1. Political and campaign provisions. Minnesota Statutes 2024, sections
1.21211B.06; and 211B.08, are repealed.
1.22    Subd. 2. Model ordinance for outdoor lighting. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section
1.2316B.328, subdivision 2, is repealed.
1.24    Subd. 3. Reorganization services under master contract. Minnesota Statutes 2024,
1.25section 16C.36, is repealed.
1.26    Subd. 4. Legislative auditor. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 16B.45, is repealed.
1.27    Subd. 5. Administrative costs for grants. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 16B.98,
1.28subdivision 14, is repealed.
2.1    Subd. 6. Fuel rules. Minnesota Rules, parts 7023.0150; 7023.0200; 7023.0250; and
2.27023.0300, are repealed."
