1.3 "Sec. 3.
[145.678] COVID-19 IMMUNIZATION DISCLOSURE IN PLACES OF
1.4PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION.
1.5(a) For purposes of this section, "place of public accommodation" has the meaning
given
1.6in section 363A.03, subdivision 34, and "communicable disease" has the meaning given
in
1.7section 144.419, subdivision 1.
1.8(b) In order to protect the fundamental rights and privacy of Minnesotans and because
1.9vaccination status is protected health data, no place of public accommodation shall
require
1.10the disclosure of a person's immunization status for the infectious disease known
as
1.11COVID-19 prior to entry on the premises unless the place of public accommodation required
1.12the disclosure of immunization status for other communicable diseases as of March
13,
1.132020.
1.14(c) Nothing in this section shall limit or alter an employer's ability to develop
and maintain
1.15lawful workplace policies for employees.
1.16EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
