1.5 "Sec. 40.
[137.375] DISABLED VETERANS; UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA
1.6LANDSCAPE ARBORETUM.
1.7(a) For purposes of this section, "disabled veteran" means a veteran as defined in
section
1.8197.447 who is certified as disabled. "Certified as disabled" means certified in writing
by
1.9the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or the state commissioner of veterans
1.10affairs as having a permanent service-connected disability.
1.11(b) The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is requested to provide a disabled
1.12veteran and one guest unlimited access to the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
1.13located in the city of Chaska free of charge. The disabled veteran must provide a
veteran
1.14photo identification card with the term "service-connected" on the identification
card,
1.15verifying that the disabled veteran has a service-connected disability.
1.16EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
1.17Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.18Amend the title accordingly
