1.9Page 56, after line 20, insert:
1.10 "Sec. 41.
REPORT.
1.11By December 1, 2027, the commissioner of natural resources must report to the chairs
1.12and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction over
1.13environment and natural resources on the effect of eliminating the shotgun zone on
deer
1.14hunting and deer populations. The report may include any recommendations for additional
1.15statutory or policy changes that the commissioner deems advisable."
