1.5 "Sec. 41.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
1.6TO LOCATE AND RETRIEVE DECEASED BIG GAME.
1.7By January 1, 2025, the commissioner of natural resources, in conjunction with interested
1.8stakeholders, must make findings and recommendations to the chairs and ranking minority
1.9members of the legislative committees and divisions with jurisdiction over environment
1.10policy on statutory and policy changes needed to facilitate the use of unmanned aerial
1.11vehicles to locate and retrieve deceased big game. The findings and recommendations
must
1.12include recommendations for:
1.13(1) licensure requirements, including requirements for maintaining insurance;
1.14(2) requirements applicable to unmanned aerial vehicles and related equipment;
1.15(3) whether an annual fee will be necessary to administer Minnesota Statutes, section
1.1697B.115, paragraph (c);
1.17(4) guaranteeing respect for affected owners' property; and
1.18(5) any other matters the commissioner deems relevant."
1.19Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.20Amend the title accordingly
