1.5 "Sec. 39. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.14, is amended by adding a subdivision

1.7 Subd. 5m. Interstate Highway 35E. The commissioner must designate the maximum
1.8speed limit on marked Interstate Highway 35E in the city of St. Paul, from its intersection
1.9with West Seventh Street to its intersection with marked Interstate Highway 94, as
55 miles
1.10per hour. Any speed in excess of the speed designated in this subdivision is unlawful.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective on the date the commissioner erects the
1.12appropriate signs designating the speed limit, which must occur on or before August
1,
1.132025."
1.14Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
