	Methamphetamine is a highly addictive, dangerous drug that has had a devastating impact on communities and the environment. The committee dedicates a hearing to review three proposals attempting to curb the manufacturing of the substance. More: The bills include: SF 1775 - creating a five-year child endangerment felony and allowing the court to impose multiple sentences (coverage begins at 00:00:00); SF 2148 - criminalizing a variety of meth-related activities and creating a meth awareness and education account (00:20:05); SF 1580 - criminalizing various meth-related activies, creating a meth awareness and education account and retailer education program, places limitations on methamphetamine precursor drug sales (00:56:50).
