| The 2003 Legislative Session convenes. All 67 Senators were sworn in to office. Senator James Metzen was elected as President of the Senate, Patrick E. Flahaven was re-elected as Secretary of the Senate, and other officers of the Senate were elected and sworn in. A resolution was adopted that names Sen. John Hottinger as Majority Leader and Sen.
