	About the Debate:
	The Stadium Screening Committee held the first of numerous scheduled meetings to discuss new sports stadiums in Minnesota. The committee was chaired by Finance commissioner Dan McElroy and included testimony from Pat McCormack of the Minnesota Historical Society, Bill Lester, the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission, Peter Sausen of the Department of Finance and Roy Terwilliger, the Chairman of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission.
