| The joint Senate Commerce and Environment and Nautral Resources Committees discussed bills aimed at meeting Minnesota's future energy needs. SF 794 (Murphy) would allow additional dry cask storage of spent nuclear energy at Prairie Island. SF 929 (Anderson) would replace nuclear energy with renewable energy sources such as wind.
