| The Senate Commerce and Utilites Committee took testimony on a settlement reached under the new Commissioner of Commerce, Glenn Wilson with American Bankers Insurance Group (ABIG) for 2 million dollars. Former Commerce Commissioner, Jim Bernstein, a representative for ABIG, Tim Thornton, Current Commerce Commissioner, Glenn Wilson and the Commerce Enforcement Director, Gary La Vasseur all testified. The committee will hear the remaining testimony from Department of Commerce officials on Wednesday, March 13th at 12:30 p.m. |
