| Senate Minority Leader Dick Day and State Representative Mark Holsten unveil a bill to allow slot machines at Canterbury Park. Sen. Day and Rep. Holsten believe the slots would generate an estimated $55 million in revenues for the state. These funds could be used for various infrastructure projects including a new Twins stadium and/or a Vikings or Gophers stadium. Randy Sampson, Canterbury Park President, also attended the press conference in support of the bill. |
