| The Committee heard testimony on SF 2672 - a proposal to build a power plant on the Iron Range. The proposal is to build a coal-fired base-load generating plant on the Iron Range. Supporters spoke on the economic and environmental need for it. Opponents addressed environmental issues and questioned whether the process for such a request was being circumvented.
