| The committee heard three bills: SF 2421, SF 2426 and SF 2651 and heard reports from Allete Rapid Power and MAPP. The committee passed SF 2426: providing for personal property tax exemption for the Otter Tail project and SF 2651: providing for personal property tax exemption for the Simon Energy Project and referred them to the Tax Committee. The committee continued SF 2421: classifying biodiesel fuel as a renewable energy source until the next hearing. Reports were also presented by Allete Rapids Power and MAPP.
