	The Senate passed a bill that appropriates $7.3 million to the city of Newport for it's share of the costs associated with the Wakota Bridge. Senator Len Price, DFL-Woodbury, sponsored Senate File 0183. The Senate also adopted a resolution setting committee deadlines, repassed a bill for a resolution requesting a ban on the importation of certain steel products, and several other bills were passed on the Consent Calendar.
