| About the Bill: | |
| The Governor's Office is required to recommend revenue targets for the next
two biennia. The targets represent as a percentage of Minnesota personal
income, must be differentiated between state and local government and
between types of revenue. The governor's recommendations set revenues at
15.9 percent of personal income for FY 02-03 biennium and at 15.5 percent for
FY 04-05 biennium. A concurrent resolution drafted by Senate Counsel sets
the targets for 16.2 percent in FY 02-03 and 15.7 percent in FY 04-05.
The committee voted to approve the concurrent resolution and referred it to the Senate Floor. |
