| Video Coverage: Extending the integration revenue to the Wayzata School District for implementation of an integration plan. | |
| About the Bill: | |
| This legislation extends the integration revenue to the Wayzata School District.
As part of the NAACP litigation settlement agreement, the Minneapolis School
District and surrounding districts are required to provide a determined number
of open enrollment slots for students from families in poverty. While the
contiguous districts are receiving $94 per student per year, Wayzata is not
receiving any funding to aid in providing an integrated education. Senator
Martha Robertson, R-Minnetonka, authored Senate File 0328.
The bill was laid over. |
