Section 1. Journeyman electrician. Allows journeyman electricians to work for a different employer other than the journeyman’s employer, as long as the journeyman electrician is: (1) covered by workers’ compensation; (2) is the subject of unemployment insurance contributions; and, as under current law, (3) is supervised doing the work; and (4) under the required safety standards. Requires the employer of the supervisor of the journeyman electrician to verify and report the supervised hours for licensing purposes.
Section 2. Unlicensed individuals.
