Section 1 [Litigation Expenses] requires that the constitutional office division of the auditor to pay certain litigation expenses of the state auditor.  Precludes the auditor from decreasing allocations, transferring funds, or reducing services from other divisions to comply with this requirement.

Section 2 [Reimbursement of Legal Costs for Wright, Becker, and Ramsey Counties] requires the state auditor to reimburse counties that the auditor has sued under the new county audit statute for their legal fees, costs and disbursements in defending the suit.

Section 3 [Schedule of charges] caps the auditor’s rate schedule for audits in 2017 at the auditor’s 2016 rates.
