This bill modifies the authorized uses of a particular portion of the tax levied by Cook-Orr Hospital District.  In addition to ambulance acquistions, the Cook and Orr ambulance services may use the proceeds for attached and portable equipment for use in and for the ambulances and parts and replacement parts for maintenance and repair of the ambulances.

This bill also prohibits "operation expenses" as an authorized use and requires that the Cook Hospital pass in equal amounts proceeds of the tax directly to the Cook Area Ambulance Service Board and the City of Orr to be used as authorized.
